Who ARE Simone, Allan and
the blue mountains eco team?
After meeting at Crossfit a few years ago, Simone started buying Lindsey’s incredible produce via Facebook and was inspired that she could grow such amazing produce in her own backyard! After moving to the Blue Mountains in 2010 Simone had searched unsuccessfully for years for someone who could help her do this in her garden!
Simone went on to win a permaculture design course and this changed everything – she realised the traditional growth economy was at the root of most of the world’s social and environmental problems and she wanted to do something about it – she wanted to leave her traditional business and corporate background behind to spend more time in the garden and support businesses doing good.
Lindsey was much further along in her love affair with her abundant garden and felt a yearning to do more for other families than what she felt she was able to do through the formal education system, particularly after completing her Permaculture Design Certificate.
After realising we had an Italian heritage in common, a mutual love of nature, complementary skills, aligned values, and a shared vision to help heal one household and family at a time. – we felt compelled to create LOVEG!
